"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV

God empowers us with our faith. He does not want us to worry and be fearful but instead be strong in our faith and know that He is the God of miracles, great divine power that can only come from Him. It is easy to let fear guide our decisions but we serve a God that is so much bigger than any fear we may face. As children of God, we are to surrender those feelings of fear, worry, and anxiety and lay them at His feet. We were not meant to go through this life alone. We may not be guaranteed a life without pain and suffering but we are promised a beautiful Glory when it is all said and done.

I pray that you choose to pray when things are tough. But I also hope that you choose to pray when things are going great or even when you’re standing in the hallway, waiting. I pray that you know that those fears, worry, and anxiety - as scary as they may seem - are not the end of the road for you. There is so much more joy and happiness to experience in life when you surrender those feelings to the Lord and let Him carry those for you.
