"Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." - Proverbs 27:17 KJV

Who you surround yourself with matters so much more than you may think. If your friends and family are not supportive (this does not mean agreeable), calling you out biblically, pushing you to reach your goals, cheering for your achievements, and encouraging your relationship with the Lord, YOU DO NOT NEED THEM. We allow people who are FILLED with negativity to invade our lives, our minds, and influence our spirit. This allows negativity to seep in and thus, the devil. Be diligent in prayer, picky in who you surround yourself with, and stay true to the Lord. 

I pray that you choose to be around folks that love, nurture, and encourage you. Who are willing to tell you when you’re in the wrong, when you are overstepping boundaries, and help you fix it. I pray that you find people to love you unconditionally, pray for them, and love them regardless of the season of life they’re on. It is rare to have people wholeheartedly invested in you who are willing to stand in the gap with you and for you, pray for you, and love you enough to do what is necessary; not what is easy. Keep those people. God bless all of you.
