July 17, 2026 - Ephesians 4:32 KJV

"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

Everyday we are given the opportunity to show kindness and grace to ourselves, our neighbors, and complete strangers. You have no idea what kind of impact a kind word or gesture could have on a person. In likeness, you have no idea how devastating harsh words and deplorable actions can be for someone. We are not privy to the trials and tribulations everyone is going through and because of that, we should make it a point to love thy neighbor. To offer our help, a kind word, love, compassion, and share the gospel.

I pray that your hearts soften. It’s easy to let the harshness of this world harden our hearts. We are often quick to bite back with unkind words and unnecessary cruelty. I pray that you choose kindness, grace and compassion when you see a stranger on the street - whether they’re visibly struggling or not, the Lord knows their heart and their pain. If you have the opportunity to ease it in any way, you should at least try.
