"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment." Mark 12:30 KJV

We are called to devote our lives to the Lord entirely. Not when it is convenient; ALWAYS. This is His First Commandment. This is not just how we act in times of good fortune. This is how we think, how we behave, the choices we make, the people we surround ourselves with, our emotions, our intentions, and our spirit. 

The Lord wants the entirety of our being; the good, the bad, and the ugly. He expects us to turn to Him in times of fear, happiness, sadness, anger, and everything in between! It is easy to turn to Him when we are scared, worried, and angry, but we often forget to turn to Him and praise Him in all seasons of life. Blessings happen when we devote ourselves fully to the Lord - that is when everything starts to fall into place. We are called to honor and serve Him regardless of what life throws our way; He is always there.

I pray that all of you are able to see the goodness of God in every season of life. I pray that you are moved physically and spiritually to deepen your relationship with the Lord and seek Him in all things that you do. Let Him be the light and love of your life so that you may exemplify His love to everyone you come across. It is our responsibility as children of God to go out into the world and preach the Gospel for all to hear - bringing as many people to Him as possible.
