"Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools." - Ecclesiastes 7:9 KJV

Only fools are quick to anger. It is so easy for us to find anger first instead of seeing the good in things or trying to figure out how to fix issues. We are responsible for all of our emotions and as humans, we do experience some emotions more profoundly than others and it can be hard to contain at times. But our actions are ours alone. It does not matter what provokes us - the accountability falls on us.

I pray that you choose understanding before anger. I pray that you choose to move forward, in kindness, with empathy, and compassion even when you are provoked to anger. Even when it is hard, the Lord calls us to be patient, kind and understanding.
