August 5, 2026 - Isaiah 53:5 KJV

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” - Isaiah 53:5 KJV

Jesus carried the weight of all of our sins through beatings He received on the cross. He knew what was going to happen to Him and He suffered through it anyway because He knew that better was coming. He lived through absolute Hell to save us, knowing that there would be centuries of children of God who would continue to run astray and sin against God just so there would be a chance of saving us. That sacrifice should be highly respected.

I pray that you know how loved and cherished you are. You are a child of God. To Him, you are worth everything. He looked at the world and knew it needed one of you - how special is that?
