August 1, 2026 - Matthew 6:25 KJV

"Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?" - Matthew 6:25 KJV

We worry entirely too much about what our life looks like, what clothes we are wearing, and what we should be doing by societal standards. We are not called to be of this world but to be Christ-like.  Life is so much more than the clothes you wear, the food you eat, the materialistic things you have. God gave you life, He will also give you what you need to sustain it.

I pray that you remember that the most important things in this life are not materialistic. I pray that you are more concerned with your character than your possessions. I pray that you remember that the God you serve will always provide for His children.
